WHY HAVE WE PARTNERED?
Refresh has partnered with the Airo Project in an effort to "give back" to the community. There are so many individuals affected by illness or disease that are in need of support, that I wanted to find as many ways as I could to help.
Health and nutrition have always been at the forefront of my life, but it wasn't until I was diagnosed with Stage IV non-hodgkin's lymphoma in June 2009, that the reality of what this meant came to life for me. Simply eating healthy and exercising was not enough, if other areas of my life were not in balance too. This was my opportunity to not only make some changes in my own life, but was a second chance to make a difference in the lives of those around me.
Now in remission since June 2010, I have set out on a journey to help those around me realize the importance of their own health, and the things they can do to not only balance, but better their lives.
There are many factors involved in "being healthy", and I want to be able to provide some of that information to those that are in need of it. Airo Project has provided me with the opportunity to not only reach out and share what I know, but to give back to those in need.
HOW HAVE WE PARTNERED?
Refresh has agreed that for every one hour health consultation ($150) completed, $25 will go directly to the Airo Project.
